EPA Seeks Ban on Strychnine General-Use Products Public Email Response by March 18th 2010 Requested
We're asking for review and response of this Petition by RCO Omega bait users. Background RUP Petition information is below.
We at RCO believe that this petition is shortsighted in that it does not address the issue of "off label baiting" of any rodenticide.
We know that the eliminating access to strychnine baits, will inevitably lead to the misuse of another publicly accessible rodent
bait or control device. We would hope that unbiased review and scientific methodologies would be applied to address this
problem. We encourage current bait users to respond to EPA via email, to stall this process, giving time for the Agency and
stakeholders to address long term steps to resolving the stated misuse issues.
