Hazard (Acute & Chronic):
Clorophancinone is an anticoagulant rodentcide of the Indandione
family. This product reduces the clotting ability of the blood
and may cause bleeeding in extreme cases.
Chronic exposure may result in an accumulation in the system
resulting in bleeding. Acute oral LD 50-25 mg/kg. (rats).
Acute Dermal LD 50=6.4 mg/kg (rabbits) for chlorophacione
Technical grade at 98% active ingredient. (Equivalent to 50,000
mg/kg oral, 128,000 mg/kg dermal of chlorophacinone Treated
Bait 0.005%)

Signs
and Symptoms of Exposure: Typical features include brusising
easily with occasional nose or gum bleeds. Appearance of blood
in stool or urine, exessive bleeding from minor cuts or abrasions.
